When you think “healthy” is code for “expensive”…

Visit EWG’s Good Food on a TightBudget. This helpful guide, developed by the Environmental Working Group, includes nutrition and price information on each the major food groups, shopping and cooking tips, printable menu planners and shopping lists, and a PDF full of simple and healthy recipes. While this site doesn’t contain any specific dollar amounts, it is quite informative about the actual value, both nutritionally and economically speaking, of the foods we buy and eat.
