Cut your flashcards in half. You will use half as many index cards as you would have (duh). I usually do this because I hate to waste paper almost as much as I hate to waste money. You only need a few words on each side of a flashcard anyway, so spend some time cutting them in half before you waste packs and packs full of index cards.
